My inteneded audience is women from the age of 18+ - Angee Taylor

Where are you from?

Texas

Tell us your latest news?

My latest book, Morgan, A Wtich’s Tale releases 10/1/14

When and why did you begin writing?

I always love this question. I never considered myself a writer. Matter of fact in high school English was the class I despised the most. Guess that’s why I have to have my editor so go through things so many times. No, in all honest I started writing in 2012. I had been having some ups and downs with my illness and with the emotions that come along with my job. My specialist for my disease suggested I journal my feelings about it all. So that’s what I did I went home and started writing about it from the beginning and about 1⁄3 in I realzied most people would consider me a vampire. That I could twist the book into a paranormal story then run with it into a paranormal fiction book. That fiction book turned into the series The Secrets Saga.

When did you first consider yourself a writer?

I still don’t I write to get emotions out and stories that need telling. If others like them that is great.

What inspired you to write your first book?

I think I answered that above but in summary I needed to get the emotions out of me. I had been holding them in for years.

Do you have a specific writing style?

I really don’t know. I’ve been told I write like I talk. I think my style changes with my mood.

How did you come up with the title of your book or series?

Hidden Secrets was the title of my first one, to me it was an obvious title Rose had been hiding secrets from everyone Quickly, give us the title and genre of your book and a 30-word or less tagline: Morgan, A Witch’s Tale, she only days to figure out how to beat this demon and save herself, the city and her family. Will she save them all?

Who is your intended audience and why should they read your book?

My inteneded audience is women from the age of 18+. They should read my books because they give them a place to  think about besides the stresses in their own lives for just a bit.

Tell us a little bit about your cover art. Who designed it? Why did you go with that particular

image/artwork?

Jessica Richardson did most of them and NK Author Services did the one for Morgan. I like my cover art to be really close to a scene from the book.

Who is your favorite character from your book and why?

In The Secrets Saga Series I really like Clayton, he brings humor to most situations.

Give us an interesting fun fact or a few about your book or series:

Nothing is what it seems and there is always a twist you never expect.

What other books are similar to your own?  What makes them alike?

I don’t know. Honestly, between work, being a mom and writing I don’t have time to read much any more.

Do you have any unique talents or hobbies?

Not really, I’m kind of boring.

How can we contact you or find out more about your books?

What can we expect from you in the future?

more books of course. :)

Do you have any tips for readers or advice for other writers trying to get published?

If you have an idea put it down on paper, just spit it out. You can always fine tune it later. It may

be a best seller you never know unless you try and always use an editor.

Is there anything else you’d like to say?

I think you covered it all. Thank you for having me.

And now, before you go, how about a snippet from your book that is meant to intrigue and

tantalize us:

Walking the streets of this town had become second nature to me. I’d been on the hunt for a

few weeks now, someone was killing the women of this town. In a little over two weeks there

had been ten women found dead, brutally murdered and the damn patrol didn’t have any

idea who was doing it. So it fell to me, I’m Dacia, of the fire line.

These women were being murdered somehow. I didn’t know the exact way the killer was

ending their lives, but what I did know, was the soft tissues were being ripped away from

their bones. Afterwards whatever was left was being set afire, destroying any chance of

identifying the women.

Thank you.
