1.
What do you write?
I write self-help business books,
including Facebook and self-publishing, and children’s books.
2. Why do you
write?
I write because it
relaxes me and I enjoy the adventure that I thought I could never afford.
3. For whom do
you write?
I write for business owners and children ages 3-10.
4. By whom are
you inspired?
I am inspired by my daughters, Alyssa and Andrea. They are
also characters in my new children’s book, Jordan the Jellyfish: A Chesapeake
Bay Adventure. I am also inspired by nature as most of my children’s books are
based on true events having to do with animals I have observed.
5 .Can you share your current writing (Any small Story/Poem)
or Tell your Future plan About writing?
I am working on the second book in the Chesapeake Bay
Adventure series. I hope to have at least four books in the series about
creatures of the Bay.
6. Give five pieces of advice to a new writer?
1) read as much as
you can about writing a book, 2) talk with authors in your genre, 3) join
Facebook groups for authors, 4) check out self-publishing (it is a lot
cheaper), 5) try standard publishing just to check it out.
7. Give five pieces of advice to a reader?
1) open your mind to the adventure, 2) try writing a story
yourself, 3) don’t read every word, it goes a lot faster, 4) buy books in used
book stores and on Ebay, 5) friend your favorite authors on Facebook and keep
in touch with them.
